



Open to unsigned entertainers and independent performing artists, including soloists and groups/bands.
Applicants must not be under any major label contract at the time of entry or during the competition.
Performers must be 18 years or older to perform at or attend Tickaplay events (currently held at Off The Cuff, Arch 645, 301-303 Railton Road, London SE24 0JN).
Auditions submitted via the Tickaplay app will soon become mandatory. For re-entry to the competition after 18th October, all admissions will be subject to audition results and also available performance slots.

Performances must be original or performed with explicit permission from rights holders/originators. All copyrighted material used will be appropriately licensed for live and online performance.
Content must be suitable for a general audience (no hate speech, violence advocacy, explicit sexual content, illicit activity, or dangerous acts).
Safety: No dangerous stunts that could endanger participants or the audience.

Video audition guidelines:
Length: ≤ 60 seconds
File formats: MP4 or MOV
Audio must be clear; avoid heavily edited or lip-synced performances with non-original backing

Safety and suitability for broadcast
The act with the highest cumulative score across evaluation criteria will be eligible for the allocated prize fund at the close of voting.
Prize fund: Variable, dependent on donations and voter contributions. There will initially be one prize allocation per live event; donations from supporters may be forwarded to participants where appropriate after the live event has been broadcast online and voting closed.
Tickaplay reserves the right to amend or extend the prize fund and donation rules to comply with applicable fundraising laws, consumer protection, and gambling/lottery rules.
All participants, judges, staff, and audiences must behave respectfully.
Harassment, hate speech, threats, or illegal activity are prohibited.
Breaches may result in disqualification, removal from events, or legal action where necessary.
Personal data (names, contact details, demographics, etc.) may be shared with sponsors and partners in accordance with Tickaplay’s Privacy & Data Protection Policy.
Sponsor content guidelines and on-stage integration boundaries will be observed.
Transparency and disclosure are required for sponsored acts or endorsements.

How to apply (via APP: Upload up to 2 free audition videos via the Tickaplay app. Creators may purchase credits (minimum £1) to submit additional entries.

- Links to social profiles or portfolio
- Country/region of residence
- Consent to use footage for promotion and broadcast
- Parental consent is required for participants under 18 for future events designed for under-18s.
Public voting: Allowed via the Tickaplay app. Voters purchase Tickacoin and select the Event and Act.
Scoring rubric (weights are illustrative and may be adjusted):
Talent/Skill: 0–10
Stage Presence/Charisma: 0–10
Originality/Creativity: 0–10
Technical Execution: 0–10
Act Potential: 0–10
Entertainment Value: 0–10
Voting integrity: Votes are monitored for multiple voting, manipulation, or rigging. Illegitimate votes may be disqualified; invalid votes are subject to the Tickaplay refund policy. Tickaplay decisions are final.
Filming rights: Audience members are not permitted to film unless explicitly allowed. Any broadcast usage requires Tickaplay approval. Unauthorized footage may be subject to copyright enforcement.
Entrants will receive results and updates via the Tickaplay app, email, and social media. Public announcements will be made as appropriate, with privacy considerations in mind.


Potential prizes may include: cash prize, recording time, management consultation, mentorship, and performance opportunities.
Broadcasting exposure through TV networks, streaming platforms, and social channels.
Post-competition opportunities: local gigs/festivals and contract discussions.
Tax handling: Participants are responsible for their own taxation.
Set durations:
Auditions (via App): maximum 60 seconds
Live round performances: ideally 3–6 minutes (minimum 3 minutes, maximum 6 minutes)
Accompaniment: Live accompaniment and backing tracks must be original material or licensed, or pre-approved backing tracks only.
Band size: Maximum of 20 people on stage at any time.
Props and wardrobe: Must comply with venue safety and suitability guidelines.
Stage setup: Prohibited items include unsafe electronics, pyro, flames, strobe lighting, and backline restrictions per venue.
Copyright: Performers retain ownership of their original content. Organisers reserve the right to use performance footage for broadcast / promotional purposes with consent.
On-site safety protocols and crowd safety measures will be observed.
Insurance requirements or waivers may apply to participants where applicable.
Emergency procedures and designated contacts will be provided.
Participants grant Tickaplay, production rights to film, record and use performances for broadcast, promo, and archival purposes.
Tickaplay reserves the right to edit or excerpt performances for broadcast, with appropriate credits.
Tickaplay will determine grounds for disqualification (rule violations, use of non-original content, safety violations, inappropriate conduct, etc.).
